La Colombaia is an exquisite 16th-century Leopoldine house in Val di Chiana, carefully restored to preserve its original charm. Built under the vision of Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo to improve the lives of local farmers, this villa blends historic Tuscan tradition with modern comfort.
The villa spans three levels. The ground floor offers a spacious living area with a grand fireplace, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with garden access, two double bedrooms, a full bathroom, a service bathroom, and a laundry room. Upstairs, the first floor showcases the original Leopoldine kitchen, with its iconic elevated fireplace, stone sink, and access to the Colombaia tower. This floor also has four bedrooms (three doubles and one suite with an additional two single beds), each with an en-suite bathroom. An extra single room is available upon request.
The top level, accessed through a wooden staircase from the kitchen, holds the Colombaia, a bright and charming double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Surrounded by a lush park with olive and cypress trees, the property features a large private pool where guests can relax and soak in the breathtaking views of rolling Tuscan hills and sunsets over Cortona.

Living Room: Three sofas arranged around a TV and fireplace near a dining area with a large table (approx. 18 seats) in the open-plan living and dining space.
